Individual Results Analysis

Understanding the output and structure of your athletes' results is the first step in the process of learning how to properly plan your training program. It's widely accepted that results at different distances (the level of development of physiological mechanizms responsible for energy production in each time category) are closely connected with each other. However, the structure of results at various distances is quite different for different groups and types of athletes, such as sprinters and distance competitors. Another factor to consider is the athlete's age, since you need to know not only the current results strucure, but also to be able to forecast their progression over time.

We not only provide the target structure of a current model for you (the ideal structure of current results at the best distance for that athlete) and the planned results, we also offer a “relational speed meter”, which is an easy to read indicator of deficiency in your athletes’ preparation structure. By simply following the recommended 3S training strategy any deficiencies will be automatically address and corrected. Each sport has a specific “preferred age” for the projected achievement of maximum results (consistent with World and Olympic levels). For instance – swimmers tend to reach their peak anywhere from ages 19- 24 these days (in the past it was at an even younger age). However, in sports such as cycling and the triathlon, the pinnacle of physiological developments usually reached between ages 28-30. Therefore, your seasonal plan should consider both annual progression and a multi-year developmental plan for each individual athlete.

You may not know all or any of them at present time, but what you need to know – is level of such results in relation to your present best result on best distance and well as in relation to future (Planned or “Goal”) result on that distance. This knowledge will provide you with understanding of limitations and deficiencies of your athletes as well as a clear path for improvement of their development immediately and for future. In essence, you can not start intelligent planning of your training without knowledge about your presence condition and its structure. “3S Results Evaluation Method™” provides you with this knowledge and creates clear path for future planning. Super Sport Systems offers a unique tool for interpreting and evaluating the results and their relationship (structure of preparedness). Just enter any distance into the program and receive projected (model) results for your athlete at selected distances. Then enter the actual result at that distance and check and see whether your athlete has a speed or endurance deficiency. This tool will provide you with immediate information, not only about the weak aspects of an athlete's preparation, but also concerning enhancements to the training process and the selection of appropriate exercises. From the outset, it's very important to understand that an athletes’ performance and their associated results, are directly connected with their age. Our research reveals the optimal multi-year trajectory of results progression with associated “corridor” of results per age and gender (probability of achieving World level results). Therefore, it is important to understand your position on this trajectory. There are several important factors to consider regarding this, including the age that a person becomes involved in regular participation in athletic activities in selected sports. You also need to know their optimum progression from year to year and their best results achieved to date.
